Google has more Zuckerbergs than Facebook

More Zuckerbergs are currently working at Google than Facebook, thanks to the recent acquisition of Wildfire Interactive Inc.,

Emily Eberhard Pereira, a spokesperson for Google, revealed to FoxNews. com that there are currently two Zuckerbergs on staff.

According to Pereira, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s brother-in-law Harry Schmidt and younger sister Arielle are working at Google.

Google buys social media marketing startup Wildfire

Google Inc., possessor of the world's leading Internet search engine, has confirmed that it latest acquisition - Wildfire Interactive Inc., a startup that helps brands optimize their presence across different social networks.

The Internet search & information giant declined to disclose the terms of the purchase. But sources familiar with the deal suggest that the Internet firm will pay around $250 million plus performance incentives for Wildfire.

US’ first commercial tidal power project launched

The Ocean Renewable Power on Tuesday announced the launch of the first commercial tidal power project of the United States.

The project, called the TidGen Cobscook Bay project, is situated on Cobscook Bay, in Eastport, Maine. The project is comprised of a one-megawatt generator that is 100 feet in length and around fifteen feet in height. It is expected to become operational in August and linked to the grid to deliver power starting October this year.

Apple’s iOS will win in the enterprise: survey

Apple's mobile operating system iOS has a lead over Google's Android, and it will win in the enterprise, a fresh IDC/Appcelerator survey revealed.
